Gamers of all ages and walks of life around the world are eagerly awaiting the E3 2016 convention next month. It is a well-known fact that Sony has been working on their PlayStation 4.5 and Nintendo is gearing up to release the NX, will Microsoft release the eagerly anticipated Xbox Two as well?

Microsoft Xbox Two to Launch at E3 2016?

According to reports, Microsoft's Xbox is set to unveil a new gaming console next month and it may be on the upcoming E3 2016 event. However, it is unclear if it is the Xbox Two or another upgrade to the current gaming system called Xbox 1.5, Vine Report shared.

Xbox One is currently enjoying larger sales compared to the gaming systems before it. However, the same could not be said when it is compared to the sales of its major competitor the PS4. Sony will reportedly release their PS4.5 console this year in September. Could the Xbox Two be released ahead of time so that Microsoft could get ahead?

Xbox 1.5 Not a Thing?

Speaking with GameSpot, Xbox head Phil Spencer admitted that he is not fond of the name "Xbox 1.5" or Xbox One and a Half and prefers bigger numbers. This suggests that the rumored upgrade is a hoax and that Microsoft is moving along with releasing Xbox Two this year.

E3 2016 Xbox One Games To Expect

Like many other gaming companies, Microsoft Xbox is gearing up for their showcase at the E3 2016 event. Especially since their press conference is a day ahead of Sony's, no one knows better than Xbox to give an unforgettable showcase to drive the competition. Xbox has their own share of success in particular titles like "Halo," so fans can expect more from this series at the event next month, Polygon reported. Furthermore, "Gears of War 4," "Crackdown 3," "Ion," "Sea of Thieves" and "ReCore" might make their debut as well.
