Both the iPad Air 3 and iPad mini 5 did not launch during Apple's event in March this year and it is rumored that both iPads may be released either on June or alongside the iPhone 7 in September.

The iPad Air 3 may be the last of Apple's Air series as the company may never make another one for good. According to rumors, the company may shift their focus on strengthening the iPad Pro line instead, iTech Post reported.

As for the iPad Air 3 specs and features, it is rumored that it will be 6.1mm thick, allowing four speakers and powerful sounds. It may also house a powerful A10 processor and run on a rumored iOS 10 update. The iPad Air 3 may also have a 3D touchscreen similar to the iPad Pros as well.

iPad Mini 5 Rumored Specs, News and Release Date

Like many succeeding generations, the iPad Mini 5 will also be slimmer than its predecessor, Christian Times noted. Furthermore, it may also come pre-installed with iOS 10 and feature the 3D-touch technology similar to the latest iPhone lineup. The iPad Mini 5 may also feature the Apple Pencil, International Business Times shared.
