‘Watch Dogs 2’: System Requirements, Gameplay, Release Date; Meet the Hackers of DedSec in Remote Access [VIDEO]By Shunie Pearl C. Dela Cruz, UniversityHerald Reporter
'Watch Dogs 2' is the second series of the most anticipated world action-adventure third person shooter video game with Marcus Holloway as the new protagonist who replaced Aiden Pearce of the first edition.
The story revolves around the life of Marcus Holloway, a migrant from Oakland and a self-taught programmer, who is being accused of a crime he didn't commit. With the help of his hacker friends from DedSec, Marcus decided to put down the ctOs 2.0, an upgraded version of the Central Operating System and its creator to prove himself as innocent. DedSec opposes the implementation of CTOS and they want to prove the flaws of the system including the predictive algorithms. The latest video of 'Remote Access' will also be introduced in this series where "different elements of the game, introduces members of the San Francisco branch of DedSec and examines the group's motivations," according to Techspot.
'Watch Dogs 2' is packed with gameplay similar to its predecessor except for the two features. Cooperative multiplayer where players can interact with random players to be able to complete the missions together and an emote system is also integrated for players to communicate with others through basic gestures.
As announced by Ubisoft, the developer of the video game series, 'Watch Dogs 2' will be released on November 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
To be able to install the game, the following system requirements must be complied according to Ubisoft Support:
- OS: Windows Vista (SP2) x 64 / Windows 7 (SP1) x 64 / Windows 8 x64
- Processor: 3.5 GHz Intel Core or 4.0 GHz AMD FX
- RAM: 8 GB or greater
- Video Card: 2048 VRAM DirectX 11 with Shader Model 5.0 or higher
- Hard Disk: 25 GB available space
- Sound Card: Surround Sound 5.1 capable sound card
- Peripherals: Windows compatible keyboard, mouse and headset, optional Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller
- Multiplayer: 256 kbps or faster broadband connection
At the time of release, the following video cards will be supported: AMD Radeon HD 5850 / 6000 / 7000 / R7 / R9 Series, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / 500 / 600 / 700 series, Intel Iris Pro HD 5200.
