Rivalry names are not used on the ranking criteria, but the intense game and solid fandom some surviving for about a century or more is to reckon. Game on. Make sure to include Taylor Swifts "Bad Blood" in your playlist while digging the top 10 list of all time best rivalry games. 

10. Texas-Texas A&M, 1894 - Texas leads, 76-37-5

No fancy nickname needed for this bitter feud, which was continuous for 97 years, often played on Thanksgiving. That includes the final meeting, on Nov. 24, 2011, won by Texas on a field goal as time expired.

9. Florida-Georgia, 1915 - Georgia leads, 49-42-2* 

Georgia snatched its first win over Florida in 1904 with 52-0. These schools now meet up annually in Jacksonville. The atmosphere all over the stadium gives credit to the rivalry where when it was named World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

8. Pittsburgh-West Virginia, 1895 - Pittsburgh leads, 61-40-3

Being 75 miles apart and only connected by Interstate 79, Panthers and Mountaineers met annually from 1943 to 2011 before West Virginia left the Big East. West Virginia University Director of Athletics Shane Lyons announced that the rivalry would once again meet in football, in accord to a four-year series, but not until 2022. This rivalry is called "Backyard Brawl."

7. Kansas-Missouri, 1891 - Missouri leads, 57-54-9

Even though neither school has won a national title, each was ranked in the Top Three in the AP poll. Disregarding the results, it is still the oldest FBS rivalry on the west of the Mississippi River. Unfortunately, Kansas and Missouri haven't met since 2011.

6. BYU-Utah, 1896 - Utah leads, 58-34-4 

Since 1922 to 2010, BYU and Utah were conference rivals. But in 2011, the series has been off and on since then, having no regular-season games in 2014 or 2015. But they ended up receiving match up in last year's Las Vegas Bowl, which has been sold out in less than 22 hours on sale, according to Las Vegas Bowl.

5. Harvard-Yale, 1875 - Yale leads, 65-59-8

As one of the oldest in college football which dates back to the time when only a handful of schools even played football.  The audience would feel something old every time these Ivy League members meet. The same when Harvard and Yale rivalry played for the first time way back 140 years ago.

4. Michigan-Ohio, 1897 - Michigan leads, 58-47-6 

Michigan and Ohio have had face offs by the end of the regular season almost every year since the mid-1930s. But what makes the game a big rivalry for this list is that their fan bases are their states where governors, the alphabet and wardrobe restrictions got involved.

3. Oklahoma-Texas, 1900 - Texas leads, 61-44-5 

The Lone Star State stadium is routinely split down the middle between fans where Oklahoma wears the crimson and cream while Texas dons burnt orange. The rivalry games have held the Red River Showdown in Dallas' Cotton Bowl since 1932.

2. Alabama-Auburn, 1893 - Alabama leads, 44-35-1 

They have only played 80 times with no heads up from 1908 to 1947. There have been no disturbance since its come back in 1948. This rivalry, also known as "Iron Bowl" has become one of the biggest college football rivalries thanks to its almost constant impact on the national championship.

1. Army-Navy, 1890 - 60-49-7 

College Football is the epitome of America. So, it should not be a surprise that the best rivalry game around is one pitting two of this country's most patriotic programs. Navy has dominated the series with 14 consecutive wins.
