"Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" Legendaries Confirmed?

Junichi Masuda, director of the Japanese developer Game Freak announced on Twitter that new information on the 3DS games "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will be revealed on May 10. There is no official announcement on the nature of the reveal but it will be at around 21:00 JST or 5:00AM PST in the US. There is no official release date announced by the company.

Fans may be able to know the legendaries for "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" this week. It is speculated that the new legendaries may be Solgaleo for "Pokemon Sun" and Lunaala for "Pokemon Moon." These two words were reportedly trademarked by Nintendo and thus fueled the speculations, The Bit Bag noted.

Solgaleo reportedly alludes to the "Pokemon Sun" because the "Sol" refers to the sun and the art work looks like it will be a lion-type Pokemon. As for Lunaala, it might be the legendary for "Pokemon Moon" because "Luna" refers to the moon. However, the artworks that are making rounds on the internet are fan-made and Game Freak may have something different on May 10.

Aside from speculations, a new feature for "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will reportedly make fans incorporate old Pokemons to the new game, according to Slash Gear. An update on the Pokemon Bank service will allegedly allow players to import their Pokemon from eShop versions of previous Pokemon version including Red, Yellow, Blue, X, Y, Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby to the "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon."
