With the sudden announcement of "Red Dead Redemption 2's" delay to next year, fans of the video game have been asking for an explanation. Rockstar Games have come to deliver what they needed to hear.

Rockstar Games Explain Big Delay

During Take-Two Interactive's recent quarterly financial conference call for investors and analysts, CEO Strauss Zelnick gave an explanation for the delay of the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2." He said that the delay's purpose was to make sure that they would deliver the most extraordinary game they were capable of, Gamespot reported.

One of the analysts asked Zelnick if there was a certain issue in the video game that caused the big delay. The CEO assured them that it was not the case, and they are currently pushing it out further so it can give the team more time to make their vision a reality.

Zelnick denied that the team ran into particular issues, but he assured that they are currently building a new game from the ground up. This was a first for the new-generation consoles, and the pressure that they put on their own team to deliver the best and to satisfy the customers was great.

Game Company CEO Utterly Confident Of Decision

Zelnick said that the team wanted to make sure they had the appropriate time to do the best job they could do for the video game. They also want to make sure that their fans would get the things that they expect them to deliver when it is released. They support the label's decision and they are utterly confident that it will prove in time.

Rockstar Games Describe Game's Details

During Rockstar Games' announcement of "Red Dead Redemption's" delay, they also gave some details on what it was all about. They said that it is an outlaw epic that is set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland. It will now be launched in Spring 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to its official website.
