Microsoft Surface Book 2 Will Compel Mac Users to Switch to Windows

Microsoft Surface Book has undoubtedly became a hit when it was launched by the Windows-maker four years ago. According to The Guardian, Surface Book is a "delicious machine" that seems to be of resemblance with the high-caliber MacBook Pro but way more than what Apple could deliver and it can be seen through its fully detachable touchscreen that opens up all the possibilities of premium experience a laptop could offer.  

For this reason, the next-generation Surface Book 2 is also expected to carry the torch of its predecessor but equipped with enhanced features and high-performing specs. According to Forbes, with Microsoft's desire to bring the Windows 10 ecosystem to the people as much as Apple did with their Mac, Surface Book 2 is the underdog tactic of the Redmond-based tech giant.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 Rumored Features and Specs

Microsoft has been tight-lipped about the Surface Book 2 specs and features; however, speculations suggest that the upcoming laptop will sport the same specs from its predecessor. For this matter, Surface Book 2 is presumed to sport a 13.5-inch PixelSense touchscreen display, runs Windows 10 Redstone OS and most especially, has support for Surface Pen according to Microsoft Store.

Based on assumptions, the company is making sure that the laptop will come off powerful and meticulously crafted with revolutionary design; thus, Microsoft failed to mention about the existence of Surface Book during the Microsoft Event last October 2016. For this reason, since Microsoft is eyeing the Intel Kaby Lake processor chipsets, Surface Book 2 release date is presumed to have been pushed back to 2018.
