Samsung Bixby is the Built-in Virtual Assistant of Galaxy S8

Back in November, Samsung has faced rumors about the digital assistant Bixby that is reportedly launching with Galaxy S8. And just recently, it seems like the South Korean tech has confirmed the said rumor because it is now listed on their official website confirming the credibility of the rumor, according to GSM Arena.

So how will Bixby intend to impress the users and surpass Siri of Apple and Google Assistant? As previously noted by GSM Arena, Bixby will come in a male voice but a female voice named Kelstra has also been reportedly included when Samsung was spotted filing a trademark application.

Accordingly, Bixby is made for voice recognition as well as to process voice commands. In addition, Samsun is reportedly doing away with their dependence on Google and it services thus, Bixby has made to make payments online just like Google Assistant for Pixel phones.

Samsung Pay Mini is the app for Samsung's payment system that is reportedly working with any online merchant available.  According to Android Police, Samsung will get a share of their income from the merchant's transaction fees.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date

If Samsung will follow their trend of launching smartphones during Mobile World Congress, then Galaxy S8 will make its public debut this coming February. However, other reports confirmed that Samsung has pushed back the launching of the most anticipated smartphone for 2017 in April 18 but this has not been confirmed by Samsung directly.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to be the most awaited phone for 2017 alongside iPhone 8 because of its promising features and high-performing specs. Meanwhile, fans are advised to wait whether or not those rumored features about the phone will really come to life.
