ByA 19-year-old male student from Fairfield was found dead at the Ohio State University Stadium, prompting an official investigation.

The university added that they did not suspect foul play in the incident, adding that there is no ongoing threat to the community. However, officials have not yet revealed Meyers' cause of death.
The statement added, "Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. Counseling and Consultation Services are available for students in need of support by calling 614-292-5766."
Meyers' LinkedIn profile showed that he was a third-year accounting student who was is a co-founder of a charity alongside his older brother. The charity donated used and unused sports equipment to local centers, according to People.
Following the initial call, residents observed a large presence of first responders, including the coroner. They also saw several cruisers and officers directing pedestrians away from the scene of the incident.
There was perimeter tape placed around the immediate area where investigators discovered Meyers' body. The tragic incident comes more than a year after a woman lost her life after falling from the Ohio Stadium during the university's spring commencement ceremony, which was later investigated as an "apparent suicide," Yahoo News reported.
Investigating the Tragic Incident
The last incident at the stadium involved 53-year-old Larissa Brady, who was attending her daughter's spring commencement. She reportedly told her family that she wanted to move higher into the stadium before being seen climbing over the wall and falling to her death.
Following that tragic incident, it was found that Brady suffered from mental health issues and had previously tried to end her life twice. Additionally, her husband talked to law enforcement officials, saying that she had not been compliant with her medications.
Furthermore, Meyers' death comes less than a week after the university's football team, the Buckeyes, won against the Ohio Bobcats 37-9 to go 3-0 for the season. The school's football team will also be on the road this week at the Washington Huskies and is set to return to the Ohio Stadium next weekend to host Minnesota, as per the Daily Mail.
When officials initially responded to the report of a dead student, a reporter at the stadium said that investigators broke down the perimeter in the parking lot shortly after noon.
