Nioh Dev Shares New Details About The Game, To Drop Its Price On PS Store For Limited Time

Nioh, the newly released action role-playing game, is about to get some big news this week. Developer Team Ninja has just announced a new update for Nioh. Team Ninja made the huge announcement this week.

According to GameSpot, which got the full details of the story, the newly released Update 1.06 brings new content and makes some quality-of-life improvements for the new action RPG. Team Ninja also adding and making new sub-missions available to all Nioh players, but this can be only accessed by the players managed to reach the final part of the game. Like for example, if a player is working in the Samurai of Legend Trophy, which requires players to complete every mission in the game.

Additionally, Team Ninja has also included more Smithing Texts and Titles in the newly released update, in which both can be unlocked in the new sub-missions, Team Ninja said. But the highlights of the new update is the ability to pause the game inside the Status menu, however, according to the developer, this is only possible when playing single-player but on multiplayer it won't allowed. The update has also made some adjustments to the amount of damage done by certain items and abilities.

As mentioned earlier on PlayStation Universe, the newly released 1.06 update will be free for all Nioh players, according to a recent press release sent out in Japan. The said press release has also confirmed the following news, Team Ninja will be adding 10 new missions that award new titles and smithing texts and also introducing an epic double boss battle against Oda Nobunaga + Obsidian Samurai.

Then, there's also battles against two disciples of Kensei and Kamiizumi Nobutsuna. In addition to the newly added boss battles, the new 1.06 update also brings the bunch of bug fixes and some technical improvements. The full patch notes can be read at the gaming-focused website Gematsu. Nioh Players can also head to Reddit forum to learn more about the newly released update.

Meanwhile, Nioh will be dropping its price on PlayStation Store for one day only, starting from March 25 at 8 p.m.to 11 a.m. Eastern Time, it can be purchased for only $40. Nioh fans can also pick up the season pass for just $17 or the Deluxe Edition for just $53.59. A PSN flash sale will also take place for the entire weekend, stay tuned for this folks.

First introduced on February 2017, Nioh is currently exclusive on Sony's PlayStation game console.
