iOS 10.3 Update: Apple Started Seeding Fifth Beta Updates For iOS 10.3, watchOS 3.2, tvOS 10.2

Apple is now pushing the fifth iOS 10.3 version for registered developers on its models such as iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Among the updates included in the new software upgrade are the Find My AirPods support, CarPlay improvements, and Apple's new file system. Also, the latest update watchOS 3.2 and tvOS 10.2 update started seeding to registered developers.

The current iOS 10.3 is available only in beta for registered developers and member of the public beta testing program. According to 9to5 Mac, Apple has expanded the latest iOS 10.3 version on its features such as the Find My AirPods in the Find My iPhone app, Wi-Fi Calling for iCloud-connected devices for Verizon customers, and a new 32-bit alert that suggests iOS 11 could be 64-bit only.

Aside from the major update on iOS 10.3 Beta 5, another big update on watchOS 3.2 beta 5 is also released, iDrop News reported. The latest update adds Theater Mode to the Apple Watch, which mutes alerts and disables "Raise to Wake" feature. This will bring lesser interruptions on movie-viewing experiences for the users. The version 3.2 adds advanced Siri app control as well.

For the tvOS 10.2 Beta 5 update, several bug fixes and improvements will be included on the software upgrade. One of the updates includes improvement on scrolling behavior and support for Apple Device Enrollment Program and VideoToolbox framework. This update also includes the Apple TV's file system to APFS.

The full catalogue of the changes included in the fifth beta version of iOS 10.3 is as follows:

  • Safari support for Reduced Motion preference
  • Prominent user security section in Settings app
  • iOS 10.3 uses new Apple File System (APFS) which may free up some space
  • Podcasts app has a widget like Music app, same app design
  • New system level way for developers to request app rating, opt out option in Settings
  • CarPlay status bar has persistent quick access to media, communication, and travel apps for quick switching without accessing the Home screen
  • CarPlay gains quick access to albums from songs in Music, new Up Next screen
  • Weather data in Maps app now has 3D Touch forecast
