"Pokémon Sun and Moon" guide reveals how to defeat Hala and obtain the Ride Pager, allowing players to have access to various Poké Rides and the special abilities that come with them. Learn how to smash rocks by riding on Tauros who has the ability to charge on rocks or boulders, smashing them to clear the way.

Poké Rides provide a faster way to travel and explore, replacing the old HMs, which enable players to do certain tricks like to fly, surf up or break rocks. However, the use of HMs takes up a move spot, which for many players is not worth the bargain although some would say that the ability to surf is worthwhile in some levels.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" guide on Ride Pager allows the players to summon and ride various Pokémons, using their unique and distinct capabilities to easily progress in the game. Players can unlock the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Ride Pager by defeating the Hala in a trial.

To obtain Tauros, players need to compete in the grand trial and defeat the Melemele Kahuna Hala. However, players need to be wary of Hala's Crabhammer with its Z-Move , All Out Plummeting capability. To defeat the Kahuna, the use of flying Pokémon the likes of Rowlett or Dartrix will do as starters.

Players may need to access multiple Pokémons like Oricorio of Melemele Meadow, Spearow of Route 3, or Pokémons with psychic abilities like Drowzee excepting Abra or Kadabra with its low level defenses. Once successful, the player will get the Z Crystal and access the Fightinium Z moves.

Moreover, Hala surrenders the Ride Pager and Riding wear gear to summon and mount Tauros, EuroGamer reported. Tauros can be activated by pressing the "Y" button and the Pokémon can charge by holding the "B" button.

When Tauros charges, he can smash rocks or boulders and clear the path for the player, Serebii has learned. Tauros can smash rocks in various places, namely, Route 1 to 6. Route 17, Diglett's Tunnel, Lush Jungle, Poni Coast, Poni Plains, Resolution and Seaward Caves, Ten Carat Hill, Vast Poni Canyon, and in the Verdant Cavern.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" guide on acquiring Tauros and his unique ability to smash rocks, pave the way for the player to get additional rare Pokémons , which are often found in Ten Carat Hill, an optional detour.
