Netflix is known to be a TV company that breathes life into comical characters and heroes such as Daredevil and The Defenders. Right now, Netflix is on it once again and is on the initial stage of putting up one of the characters we all certainly know - "The Punisher."

Recently, Marvel and Netflix just launched another Marvel character Luke Cage while next year will see the collaboration plans of both companies with the release of "Iron Fist." Prior to the latter's release, both companies are now starting to work on "The Punisher's" production, ScreenRant reported.

Provided that there are a lot of positive responses coming from audiences in relation to the character's debut in "Daredevil" Season 2, the series' journey from rumors to the confirmation of the producers seem to be speedy. And right now, a lot of photos are circulating the web with the filming of the TV series in the streets of New York.

Netizens have posted on their social media accounts a bunch of photos featuring the series' main actor Jon Bernthal during the first day of taping. These photos manifest that the character seems to be more matured because of his beard that, without any doubt, may affect the time as well as the setting where the show is going to take place, BleedingCool has learned.

This is certainly one of the things that Netflix fans are going to look forward to, considering the very promising acting skill of Bernthal in putting into life the character of Castle.

Even if these photos do not necessarily reveal so much, it does add as a clue for the rumors about the release of the series next year. Considering that taping the series will not end until the next few months, Bernthal is still expected to appear in "The Defenders", which also provides a clue about "Iron-Fist" and the team-up series.

Nothing more is known about the details with regard to the series, but speculation suggests that Ben Barnes is expected to play as the villain.

Netflix's series such as "Daredevil" is on its third season, Luke Cage just recently debuted its first season and "The Defenders" is expected to arrive next year.
