"Dead Rising 4" still makes photojournalism a big part and Frank is still the cool guy, Capcom reassures. The game will roll out on Dec. 6, while Remasters of the game are also expected to arrive this year but is coming later than originally expected.

The "Dead Rising 4" leaked snapshots and a gameplay trailer released by game developer Capcom showed the protagonist Frank West who is now 16 years older than before. In "Return to the Mall," Frank  whips up some armaments and heads off to the food court for a burger, and gets a new outfit before he grills some zombies.

Screenshots of the "Dead Rising 4" have surfaced recently via NeoGaf user Gwyn. The images showed Frank West tearing off zombies and frying an entire crowd of shamblers. A new gameplay trailer shows Frank West's nonchalance as he enters a big mall, gets some food and new clothes, PC Gamer reported.

In other news, the first three "Dead Rising" games are being re-mastered and will come out in stores ahead of "Dead Rising 4." Capcom has decided to remaster the original "Dead Rising" game along with "Dead Rising 2" and "Dead Rising 2: Off the Record" for Xbox One and PS4. The trio will come out as the "Dead Rising Triple Pack" and was initially set to release on Sept. 16, but is now available for preorder on the Xbox Store.

The first three "Dead Rising" games will now run at 1080fps/60fps with some technical issues causing a failure to launch. "Dead Rising" will see Frank West on a mission to rescue survivors in a zombie-infested shopping mall in Willamette, Colorado. In the process he discovers the truth and the game is given a sense of urgency. It should be noted that the game still has the save status and quit feature instead of an autosave one.

On the other hand, "Dead Rising 2" ditches Frank West for Chuck Greene as the protagonist. Greene struggles to protect his daughter who has been infected by zombies. He will be looking for Zombrex to save his daughter, cooking up some weapon concoctions in the process, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

"Dead Rising 2: Off the Record" returns Frank West who has now himself been infected. There will be new scenarios but the general feeling of the game was preserved. The game added a checkpoint system which will allow saving progress outside of scattered save points.

"Dead Rising 4" can now be preordered on the MS Store with pre-orders receiving X-Fists as a bonus. This cosmetic add-on will allow players to smash and bash through the zombie mayhem with the exclusive X-Fists, a combo weapon for Exo Suit.
