'The Sims 4' Release Date, Latest News: EA Introduces New City Living Expansion.


EA announced "Sims 4's" new city living expansion.There are added features in the game.

For those who miss "The Sims," here's the good news. Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:EA)  announced the next expansion, "The Sims 4: City Living" on Wednesday, Sept. 3. The game will be available on Mac and PC on November 1, Business Wire reported.

What to expect on "The Sims 4?"

"The Sims" allows players to play with life by creating virtual people. They can customize their worlds, and rule their own life.

Just like the previous "Sims," the latest "Sims" allows players to customize their virtual characters. However, there are high-powered jobs available and there more added activities.

The urban center of the "City Living is San Myushuno, according to Polygon. The place has street fairs and karaoke bars.

There are four neighborhoods in San Myushuno, and each of them has distinct offerings, There are high-powered jobs available in "The Sims 4," including big-town politics.

Players can visit or live in one of the four unique neighborhoods. The virtual characters in the "Sims 4" join in some street festivals, and jam at a new Karaoke bar.

There are also added new activities at home or out on the town, including a new video game console, mural painting, basketball, and more.

"The Sims 4" was released on Sep. 2, 2014, and was developed by Maxis. "The Sims 1," or known as "TS1," or "Sims 1" was released on February 4, 2000. This game is a "single-player interactive life simulation game."

According to the press release, more than hundreds of millions of people have enjoyed "The Sims" for 15 years.
