'Pokemon Go' New Features: Catch MewTwo, Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos And Mew; How To Trade Pokemon In The Hit Augmented Reality Game?

By

"Pokemon Go" has become a global rage since its debut in July this year, although gamers continue to face an uphill struggle getting their hands on quite a few monsters.

Niantic Labs is rumored to roll out a slew of upgrades, including one that enables players to trade their Pokemon. This could open up a whole new avenue of possibilities for gamers in terms of catching the mysterious MewTwo, Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, and Mew.

"Pokemon Go" players would finally be able to trade their Pokemon with other avid gamers of the hit augmented reality mobile game following Niantic Labs CEO John Hanke's confirmation that the studio is currently concentrating on the trading feature, GameNGuide reported.

Although the feature is yet to be rolled out, trading Pokemon is likely to make the game more interesting. In addition to allowing players to catch any Pokemon, the feature could encourage social interaction.

While catching the rare monsters may have been quite challenging for some gamers, the impending Pokemon Trade feature is expected to facilitate catching these rare types.

However, Niantic Labs has remained mum regarding the possible rollout of the rumored feature up to now.

Meanwhile, "Pokemon Go" fans can continue catching Pokemon the regular way. As soon as the Pokemon Trade feature arrives, avid "Pokemon Go" gamers will be able to trade an array of creatures such as MewTwo, Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, and Mew.

How Does Pokemon Trade Works?

Contrary to what gamers would have anticipated, the Pokemon Trade feature could be quite simple. Players will trade Pokemon of their choice with other gamers via Bluetooth.

Aside from speeding up things for Pokemon gamers, the purported feature will also help players who are unable to get their hands on the rare monsters. While several players consider the Trade feature to be good news, some fans believe this could actually aggravate the cheating situation.

Cheating could exceed bounds in the game if the feature is introduced. There is a possibility that some gamers might use GPS spoofing and even bots to transfer Pokemon using their accounts.

Trading Pokemon is a crucial aspect of the previous Nintendo Pokemon games. It enabled players to not only trade with other players but also to trade Pokemon to in-game Pokemon trainers. Aside from making the game more fun, the feature also helped players to collect all the Pokemon in the game, TheBitBag reported.

Nevertheless, its kind of too early to forecast the impact Pokemon Trade would have on the "Pokemon Go" game in general.

Stay tuned for more updates on the imminent Pokemon Trade feature. Check out the footage below for more information:
