Although it is not rare, Eevee is cited as one of the most powerful Pokemon in the realm of "Pokemon Go," thanks to its ability to evolve in to three different forms based on the special items and other elements involved.

It didn't take too long for avid "Pokemon Go" players to figure out a trick that plays a crucial role while controlling Eevee's evolution, enabling them to choose among the three different forms.

First off, player needs to catch an Eevee. With Eevee and other factors vital for its evolution in place, the Pokemon can be evolved into Jolteon, Flareon, or Vaporeon.

The Eevee evolution cheat shown by enthusiasts hinges on to the "Pokemon" anime that featured Eevee brothers called Sparky, Pyro, and Rainer.

To evolve Eeevee into one specific evolution, a player needs to rename Eevee into one of the aforementioned brothers.

For instance, players interested in Jolteon should rename their Eevee as Sparky, those interested in Flareon should rename their Eevee as Pyro, while those looking for Vaporeon should rename Eevee as Rainer.

Once Eevee is renamed and saved, the players then needs to close the game all the way and restart it. Although this cheat surfaced as a rumor among avid players initially, but Niantic Labs gave this technique a nod during the recent San Diego Comic-Con, CNet reported.

The electricity-type Jolteon is cited as the feeblest Pokemon among the three evolutions despite its quick feet (hidden ability). However, it is favorable to have a Jolteon as the evolution is powerful while facing water-type Pokemon, Mobile&Apps reported.

The fire-type Flareon, on the other hand, boasts the slowest move among the three evolutions, besides being weak against the water-type Pokémon. But, it has the highest base attack amid the three Eevee evolutions.

Prior to the latest game update, Vaporeon was thought-about as one of the most powerful Pokemon in the hit AR (augmented reality) game, "Pokemon Go." The monster has the highest endurance among the three Eevee evolutions.
