"Scorpion" Season 3 is airing its 15th episode titled "Sharknerdo" next week. The upcoming episode will put Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Paige (Katharine McPhee) in a tight spot during a mission gone wrong.

Nicholas Wootton, one of the CBS series' executive producers and showrunners, recently teased what fans should expect from future episodes. In a new interview with Assignment X, he revealed that the show will introduce three to four huge story arcs this year.

According to Wootton, the arcs will be personal for each character and will "pay off" the stories already set up in 2016. He added that the show's creative team wants to "give everybody a swing at the plate in terms of a big story arc."

An upcoming "Scorpion" episode will showcase Walter coming home to Ireland to spend time with his family. His parents are taking care of Sylvester (Ari Stidham), who recently lost his wife Megan (Camille Guaty).

Walter's parents are very sweet to their son-in-law, but news concerning Sylvester's inheritance from a dead aunt will complicate matters. Also, in an upcoming episode teased by Wootton, Sylvester will have to save a colony of bats in a cave even though he hates them.

The showrunner also addressed the show's youngest cast member, Ralph (Riley B. Smith). The kid is growing quickly in front of the camera, and Wootton acknowledged that they will have to figure out how to "accommodate the fact that he's going to be a different-looking kid" in the next season.

"Sharknerdo" will put Walter and Paige stuck in the shark-infested waters of the Pacific Ocean after their boat explodes while they were looking for sunken treasure, SpoilerTV reported. The duo will have to rely on each other and swim to safe waters while the rest of the team -- Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas), Happy (Jadyn Wong), Sylvester (Ari Stidham) and Cabe (Robert Patrick) -- are working on rescuing them.

Their position will push Walter and Paige to finally address their lingering feelings for each other. Paige has been ignoring Walter for his role in her boyfriend Tim's (Scott Porter) departure to Jordan. McPhee, however, told TVLine that Walter and Paige will have a talk soon, specifically about the former's declaration of love to her while he's hallucinating.

The last three episodes of Season 3 will focus on Toby and Happy's wedding and though that is exciting for everyone involved, the couple will have to deal with some roadblocks, according to a separate report from TVLine. "Sharknerdo" airs on Monday, Feb. 6 at 10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT on CBS. Watch the promo below.
