Most fans and avid gamers alike will agree that it is a rare sight for mobile games to be successful and still remain free-to-play. As such, these same fans have been patiently waiting for " Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia" to finally be released on the Android and iOS platforms. That being said, the developers have stated that they are almost complete and fans can expect the game to be released sometime soon. With it, fans can also expect for the developers to announce a new character that will be added to the game in just a few days.

It was recently reported that "Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia," which was originally slated for a 2016 release date and pushed back, will finally be released in early 2017, Siliconera has learned. In an interview with Square Enix via Famitsu, the developers told their fans that the state of the game's current development is already at 99 percent.

That being said, the developers have also said that they plan on releasing more information along with the launch date for "Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia." Square Enix mentioned further that fans can expect many characters from the previous installments of the acclaimed "Final Fantasy" franchise to appear with voices.

Moreover, fans of "Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia" can expect a command-based battle system that is divided between the Brave Attack and HP Attacks. Also, the game was said to feature a rich story-line that will go beyond the series through its captivating crossover RPG elements.

On top of these news, it was also reported that fans of "Dissidia Final Fantasy" can expect another announcement regarding a new character that will be added to the game, Gematsu reported. It was said that a new character will be announced to join the game during a Niconico live stream on Jan. 10, which will also showcase a live gameplay.
