Samsung curved display is a typical feature found in premium devices such as Galaxy S7 Edge but a new report indicates that Galaxy A 2017 series will likely rock such display as well.

Samsung Curved Display Phone Update: Galaxy A 2017 Design will be Similar to S7 Edge?

Many rumors have surfaced and indicated that an upcoming Galaxy A series will sport a curved display phone. This is a questionable rumor especially when curved display has been attached to Samsung high-end devices instead of a mid-range phone like Galaxy A.

So far, there has been no other leak or report to corroborate the rumor but Ubergizmo has learned that the curved display rumor has been swirling around the web for months. If this rumor is to be believed, Samsung faithful would have more options on value-for-money handsets.

The First Samsung Galaxy A Series to Sport Curved Display

As a reminder, Samsung hasn't feature the curved panel in any of its A series phone. If the next Galaxy A will get the curved display, then it will be the first mid-range phone with a Galaxy S-like screen.

According to claims, Samsung is aiming at a mid to low segment to market its handsets to increase the profits. Android Authority reported that OLED displays that are mostly used for premium flagships will likely be shipped with medium-grade phones such as Galaxy A series.

Previously, Galaxy A7 2017 has been leaked - sporting 5.7-inch AMOLED display. It has also received FCC certification, which means, a step closer to US release. However, there is no word of a curved-display phone. It can be assumed that the said panel might be reserved for another Galaxy A series next year.
