Fans and gamers alike are well aware of Bioware's acclaimed "Star Wars: The Old Republic" MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game) released back in 2011. This coming December, fans can expect more content being added to the game as "Knights of the Eternal Throne" will be rolling out soon this coming December. Moreover, there have been reports showing that some players are getting upset about the inclusion of the Galactic Command and the impact it will bring to the game, according to sources.

It was recently reported that BioWare will be releasing another expansion for its "Star Wars: The Old Republic" franchise with what they call "Knights of the Eternal Throne," which is set on Dec. 2 this week, Polygon has learned.

The upcoming expansion was said to continue the story where "Knight of the Fallen Empire" left off. As such, it was stated that fans will get to witness both the Galactic Empire and Sith Empire factions pit against each other with the inclusion of a new enemy call the Eternal Empire.

Developers of the game have intended for "Knights of the Eternal Throne" to finally put the struggle for galactic control to a finale as players get the chance to become the ruler of the galaxy and for a core part of the game's MMO new endgame system, known as Galactic Command.

With this, producer Ben Irving discussed in an interview with Polygon that players will get all the gear in the game from the Galactic Command. The concept was said to involve players doing activities that earn them Galactic Command experience points, By that, players will get to have a command rank that rewards them with loot crates (containing powerful gear), depending on the level of their ranks.

As such, it was also reported that some fans are upset about the idea of including the Galactic Command in the game's system, Hardcore Gamer reported. It was mentioned therein that disgruntled members of the community felt that including the Galactic Command will be "de-incentivizing" the game's dull raid progression.

That being said, only time can tell as to how fans will react once "The Knights of the Eternal Throne" comes out in Dec. 2 for BioWare's "Star Wars: The Old Republic."
