'Mass Effect: Andromeda' News: Devs Aim To Make Biggest Game Ever; BioWare Reveals New Alien Race! [VIDEO]

Fans and gamers alike can rest assure that BioWare's highly-anticipated sci-fi video game "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is well on its way as the developers aim to make their biggest game ever. Moreover, BioWare goes into detail in revealing the newest alien race in the upcoming installment, according to sources.

It was recently cited in an interview with Game Informer that the developers behind "Mass Effect: Andromeda" are planning to make the biggest game ever in the franchise. Mike Gamble, producer for the upcoming sci-fi shooter game, has stated that they intend to make the game the biggest they've ever gone, in terms of the variety of content.

Gamble went on to say that BioWare wants to make every area in the game memorable to the fans. It was reported that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will feature the largest universe among all the installments in the franchise. To illustrate, Gamble went on to state that the game will have less linear planets and hub cities, which would open up the game for more exploration.

When asked as to the things players can expect when exploring the larger areas of the game, Gamble went on to elaborate that fans can look forward to more combat-related encounters, puzzle-related encounters, narrative-related encounters, and more events that will culminate to add more substance to the critical path of the game.

In other news, BioWare has revealed a few details about the new alien race that will be featured in the upcoming "Mass Effect: Andromeda," PC Gamer reported. It was mentioned that the latest race known as the Kett will be be featured as the antagonist alien race in the game.

Joel MacMillan, the game's art director, stated that BioWare opted for a different approach when they came up with the design for the Kett race, in order to aptly distinguish them from the previous alien races that fans have been accustomed with. It was noted that the Kett race will have a more "organic" aesthetically, and will be made to keep them bidpedal and clothed, as well.

It seems that fans can truly expect a lot of things packed in the game once "Mass Effect: Andromeda" gets released.
