To celebrate Turkey Day, celebrity television host and game show host Steve Harvey took some time off from his busy schedule to visit Alabama State University.

This was ASU's way of promoting the Turkey Day Classic events in the campus. This made the school earn national recognition. Aside from the talent show, the school is also hosting a Homecoming Turkey Day Classic game with the ASU Hornets versus the Golden Bears from Miles College.

On November 23, 2016, Steve Harvey brought laughter at the ASU's Acadome. He was there at around 8:00 AM and broadcasted the grounds live.

Alabama State University held their annual Turkey Day Classic and Steve Harvey used his hosting talents to lead the talent contest, cites the Montgomery Advertiser. As expected, he talked jokes and made people laugh during the whole morning. The crew set up the place like it was an actual talent show with bright lights and Hollywood cameras everywhere.

Steve Harvey is not only known as a game show host but he is also known as a comedian. He brought his funny charms along with his suit at the Alabama State University campus and the student community laughed alongside his jokes. He hosted the local singing sensations of the college during the live telecast of the "Steve Harvey Morning Show" and, like he does on television, made everyone laugh at the expense of the contestants.

According to the publication, an individual named Angela Harris, who was a nurse at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care, told Steve Harvey that she worked for the mental health department for 12 years. In Harvey-style, he tried not to poke fun at the contestant but eventually gave in to the crowd and dished out jokes.

Harris did not seem to mind. She was too excited to notice anything else as she just wanted to sing "I'll be There" by the Jackson Five. She even pointed out that her nerves went away after Harvey made those jokes.
