You know her as Hermione Granger and she went to school with Harry Potter at Hogwartz. But that is all fiction. In reality, she is Emma Watson and she has a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Brown University. She also studied at Oxford.

Her character is bookish in the movies and in the novels but she is also bookish in real life. She created her own book club and she is the United Nation's Women Goodwill Ambassador, according to Brit.

Born in 1990 in Paris and grew up in Oxforhshire, Watson attended the Dragon School as a child. She then moved to Headington school. Later on, she trained as an actress at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts. Hermione Granger was her break out role. She carried the part until the Harry Potter series movie adaptation concluded. This happened from 2001 to 2011. Her only experience was acting in school plays but she rose to fame as the bookish curly haired girl. Later on, she starred in other movies such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Tale of Despereaux.

It should be noted that she took a gap year in February 2009 to film another Harry Potter film but she insisted that she wants to finish her studies. Which is why she chose Brown University in Providence, Rhode island in March 2011.

After working on the Harry Potter films, she went back to studying. She split her time between acting and studying at Brown University and Worcester College, Oxford. In May 2014, she graduated from Brown with a bachelor's degree in English Literature.

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, it had taken her five years to finish her studies instead of four because she had to take a few semesters off to continue her acting work.

In addition, she also became a certified yoga and meditation teacher. She never stops being busy and during her career, she never fails to continue her education.
