Although, there is no specific release date associated with "The Elder Scrolls 6," and Bethesda has remained mum and has divulged no details, it's safe to say though that the game will make an appearance soon.

Several reports doing rounds online indicate that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is definitely a priority and Bethesda will take the wraps off the much-awaited game this June at E3 2016. Speculations have initially hinted a 2017 release for "TES 6," however if Bethesda follows its release pattern, fans would be in for a really long wait - until 2019 or 2020 to be precise for the game to actually hit the shelves, GameNGuide reported.

That said, fans are still hopeful that Bethesda Games Studios will break the trend and release the game early and they do have a strong reason to believe so.

"TES 6" has a huge fan-base that continues to increase, and ignoring the demands of these gaming fanatics for an early launch, doesn't quite seem ideal for the developers.

However, considering Bethesda is currently concentrating on "Fallout 4," those anticipating an early release of "TES 6," may be in for a huge disappointment. Besides, with a slew of untitled games lined up this year, as well as for next year, there seems to be a very thin chance that the studio would include "The Elder Scrolls 6" in its 2016, or even 2017 lineup for that matter.

Another burning question centers on the purported setting of the upcoming "TES" installment.

Gaming enthusiasts are anticipating the upcoming "TES" installment to take place exactly where the earlier installment of the game left. In fact, the purported next title of the installment, "Elder Scrolls 6: Skyrim II" stems from this idea, Yibada reported.

Some rumors doing rounds online suggest either Argonia or Elsweyr would be the next setting of "TES."

Bethesda has not confirmed any of the aforementioned claims made by rumor mills, and it seems best to take these speculations of an early release with a grain of salt.
