It looks like the 2017 comeback of "Digimon" would be a year followers of the game will look forward to. The impending release of "Digimon World: New Order comes with freebies and chances to win Digi'Gifts that fans would surely appreciate.

Bandai Namco announced, "Digimon World: Next Order" is slated for release on Jan. 27, 2017 in Europe and Jan. 31, 2017 in North America exclusively for the PlayStation 4, PlayStationLifeStyle reported. Pre-ordering the game in North America gives the user the following freebies with their purchase:

•  The original game soundtrack of "Digimon World"
•  The original game soundtrack of "Digimon World: Next Order"
•  Omegamon Ultimate Digivolution Core
•  Adventure Aid Set

Additionally, Bandai Namco Europe is running a special interactive activity called Digi'Hunt' where anyone can hunt or track down QR codes hidden on their official website, on screenshots, trailers and more. Unveiling the secret code will give players a chance to win "Digi'Gifts. The activity will run until the official release of the game.

"Digimon World: Next Order" post-launch free DLC

Prior to the game's release, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that "Digimon World: Next Order" will be provided with free post-launch DLC's. To join in a "new mysterious event," Piedmon, Myotismon, and Boltboutamon will be part of the free DLC. Additionally, other events involving other Digimon will also be available; however, details are withheld for now.

New Digimon will be featured in "Digimon World: Next Order," such as Armageddemon who is a powerful Mega form Digimon. He can be acquired once players defeat him and upon completing Story Mode. Maicoomon and Maycrackmon are also featured; they come from "Digimon Adventure Tri.

Maicoomon is another free DLC that will be available for "Digimon World: Next Order," according to Gematsu. However, he will come initially in Japan in late March, as announced by Bandai Namco. Players will have to clear an included scenario with the download to obtain an item that will allow the player to digivolve Maicoomon, see video below.

Network play will be available for players to experience Network Battles through the Dimensional Box found at Jijimon's house. Battle other players in a retro setting to gain points and unlock rewards.

In Japan, "Digimon World: Next Order" will also be available for the PS Vita on Mar. 17, 2017.
