Despite the fact that the new MacBook Pro is expensive, netizens still have the chance to own one because Amazon offers big discount to those who wants to order the new mac from them. Will this be a good deal or just good for nothing?

Big Discounts for MacBook Pro

A day after Apple announced the new MacBook Pro, Amazon has made an offer to loyal Apple fans regarding the purchase of a new Mac. According to BGR, the e-commerce site offers up to $200 discount from the 13-inch high-end MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and $360 off from the entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro.

The entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro costs around $1,499 and the high-end MacBook Pro with OLED Touch Bar and Touch ID fingerprint sensor has a price tag of $1,799. The savings mentioned above appear to be good enough for someone to own Apple's most portable machine, which according to BGR, will begin shipping in the upcoming weeks.

Is the New MacBook Pro Worth the Price?

Many people would cringe when they hear about how expensive the new Macs are but Apple has once already said that they are not targeting the low markets. An interview conducted by Forbes with some of the tech analysts from well-known tech sites revealed that there are those who said that the price is just right, while others expressed their disappointment over the high amount.

According to Rhoda Alexander of IHS Market Technology, the MacBook Pro 2016 version has addressed the issues Apple had in their 12-inch MacBook in 2015, which has a weaker set of features. As the Director of Tablet and Notebook PCs, Alexander added that the solutions offered by the new versions of MacBook Pro is worthy of the price Apple has set for them.

On the other hand, the Executive Editor of PC World, Gordon Mah Ung, expressed his disappointment over the new Macbook Pro 2016. According to him, it is painful to know that Apple is stubborn enough not to include a touch and pen support in the new MacBook Pros.
