Rumor has it that Google will settle for the Pixel brands, for their two phones. The Pixel and Pixel XL will have no HTC nor Google brands. It is believed that the Google phones will be the most Google-influenced design.

Google Nexus phones are said to sport Sony IMX378 12 MP for the rear shooter and IMX179 8 MP for the selfie shooter. The leak comes from a developer named LlabTooFeR - who previously speculated that the upcoming Nexus phones could be 'a waste of storage' and UniversityHerald explained the reason in one of the article.

Other than that, there will possibly be two screen options, the 5-inch and 5.5 inch display. Pixel and Pixel XL will run Android 7.0 Nougat. There is no leak about the price but Google Nexus 2016 will likely be pricier than Google's previous handsets, BGR reported.

Google is said to launch the two Android devices on October 4th. Based on an information obtained by Android Police, the Google Phones Pixel and Pixel XL will be announced in a major event. However, according to the website which, more often than not, leaks accurately - the October 4th may not be a 100 percent certainty as it might subject to change.

Alongside the Pixel and Pixel XL, Google will also announce 4K Chromecast and a VR headset, Google Daydream.
