So far, the speculations on Google Nexus Phone 2016 have been around its specs and release date. A new leak mentions in details of the price for HTC Marlin and Sailfish for the 32 GB variants.

A few days ago, the alleged price of HTC Marlin and Sailfish circulate online. The specs are upgraded but it seems that the price stays pocket-friendly. According to Nexus Blog, an internal source leaked the pricetags of each HTC-built device.

HTC Sailfish is rumored to be priced at $449 whilst the high-end HTC Marlin is said to be priced at $599. These tags are for the 32 GB models. The source also claimed a 64 GB storage variant for Sailfish model might be available, with higher pricing, of course.

The Marlin variant is said to sport 5.5 inch quad HD display with 3,450 mAh battery cell and spacious 4 GB of RAM. Under the hood, Marlin will be get Snapdragon 820 chipset. Marlin will likely get 13 MP and 8 MP shooters.

HTC Sailfish is rumored to be the cheaper variant of Nexus Phones, sporting 5 inch display and 2770 mAh battery. Both Nexus devices will run the latest OS, Android Nougat, TechnoBuffalo wrote.

Many sources have speculated that the Google Phones will arrive after the Android Nougat is ready for release for the new devices, including LG V20 which will be the first smartphone to launch with Android Nougat out of the box. This could hint to the Nexus Phone 2016 arrival sometime after LG V20 series is launched in September. Google Nexus Phone 2016 release date is expected to be in October.
