‘MacBook Air’ 2016 Release Date, News & Update: Release Date In August Or Apple Discontinuing ‘MacBook Air’ Line?

By

"MacBook Air 2016" has a little information to offer to the public, and it has been speculated that Apple might put an end to the Air lineup completely.

But, the "MacBook Air 2016" lineup had a possibility to continue as the latest reports lead to the belief that the light Apple notebook might be unleashed on August, ITech Post reported.

As the upcoming device will be materialized in a larger 15-inch version, the laptop is speculated to be released even sooner, in August, based on the report of Techradar.

Not everyone believes that the tech giant could actually terminate the upcoming device, more speculations have surfaced that the upcoming device could feature a Lightning port instead of the standard 3.5mm headphone jack, a touch display bar - OLED, and a 5K display, according to Christian Times.

If the American multinational technology company will really unleash the forthcoming laptop, the device is believed to be equipped with a better and long-lasting battery. The latest Air would run an Intel Skylake chipset for enhanced performance.

The latest macOS Sierra may also be preloaded with the laptop, since the new OS was already unveiled during June WWDC.

However, some reports contradict the August release date and claimed that the "MacBook Air" series will not be upgraded by Apple Inc. As the tech giant seemed to have their center of activity on their core product - "iPad Pro."

Tim Cook, Apple Inc.'s CEO, stated that the "iPad Pro" is a replacement for a desktop or a notebook and the CEO did not say any word regarding their plans for an upcoming Air lineup, according to Telegraph.

That being said, Apple has yet to confirm any details officially, and Apple devices' fans may find out more information in the following months when "iPhone 7" is introduced into the presence of the public, according to Vine Report.
