The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) released a photo that could be the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in the planet Mars. The spacecraft orbiting the planet snapped a picture of NASA's Curiosity Mars rover exploring the surface of the Red Planet.

NASA's Curiosity Mars rover captured by the orbiter's HiRISE camera appears to be a bright blue at the center of the scene. The Curiosity Mars rover was in the middle of the dark sand and tan rocks on Mount Sharp. The HiRISE camera on the space agency's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter snapped the photo on June 5, 2017, Popular Science reported.

For an ordinary human being, the recent photo of NASA's Curiosity Mars rover might look like a really-not-great image. But, it's a powerful photo for those who have a tendency to anthropomorphize the spacecraft.

Wherein, the Curiosity rover is working so hard looking for signs of ancient microbial life on the Red Planet. The HiRISE captures several shots of the rover around every three months to monitor and record the changes of the area, such as erosion, Mashable reported.

Scientists have already started to examine methodically the samples taken from the lower levels of the Mount Sharp, which they claim a diverse environment that evolves. The mountain's lowest levels are made of sediment that accumulated the earliest in the history of the mountain while the region was underwater. The sample soil from the Curiosity rover had a lot of magnesium, iron, and rock that is similar to the volcanic kind in Hawaii today, which suggests a similar source.

Nonetheless, this was not the first time the orbiter's HiRISE camera captured the car-size Curiosity rover. NASA made it known that the HiRISE camera took a photo of the rover almost five years ago when it landed near the Mount Sharp.
