Apple's opening keynote for the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 event has just concluded. Among the announced device was the highly anticipated 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017.

It's been only seven months since the Cupertino based tech giant has first unveiled its MacBook Pro 15-inch model with Touch Bar. Now, Apple wants a refresh for its MacBook Pro as announced at the ongoing WWDC 2017 event through the opening keynote, Engadget reported.

Apple's new MacBook models are faster across the board, with the 15-inch MacBook Pro having a new top turbo speed of 4.1GHz, the machine is now 300MHz faster compared to last year's variant. The top-line MacBook Pro models also boast a more robust graphics, wherein, the 15-inch MacBook Pro variant is equipped with a 4GB AMD Radeon Pro 560, CNET reported.

Nevertheless, the amount of RAM of Apple's 15-inch MacBook Pro remains the same. The 15-inch MacBook Pro still has the same ports, same trackpads, same screens and same enclosures.

Meanwhile, even though the processor speed of the 15-inch MacBook Pro had jumped from 2.6 GHz to 2.8 GHz, the price of the device is still at $2,300 or $2,799. A low-price MacBook Pro was something several tech enthusiasts have been clamoring for.

In spite of that, not much has changed on the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017. Previous reports suggested that a new in-house chip would boost low-power performance when the MacBook Pro 2017 is sleeping, but the tech giant mentioned no such thing during the conference. That means the MacBook Pro 2017 model will be available with all the same specs as the existing variants, from the Touch Bars, Thunderbolt 3 support as well as the Retina displays.

That being the case, the more expensive 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 is available with 512GB SSD storage and has a $2,799 price tag. The new 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 is now up for grabs at Apple stores.
