AMD Radeon RX graphic cards are making waves in all aspects of GPU landscape. One good example of these impressive performances the Radeon bandwagon recently unveiled is Radeon Pro SSG video resolution for intensive video editing.

Ahead of the highly anticipated release date of AMD Radeon RX GPUs, the powerful graphics card has appeared in Radeon Pro SSG. This vega-based graphic card for editing powers 4K and 8K content workload and wows the crowd of NAB show in Las Vegas, Tweak Town reported.

AMD showcased what Radeon Pro SSG can do ith 8K video processing in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017. The said editing graphic card was used side by side with 4K post-processing with Radeon ProRender which is used for rendering high-end graphics.

According to PC World, the said NAB show is aimed to encourage the film and TV industry to adopt their upcoming line of AMD Radeon RX lineup in their high-end editing. The demand for GPUs in this industry is at high with the rise of the so-called "food and travel porn" in social media and entertainment portals.

Meanwhile, the gaming industry expects the 8K resolution to arrive in three-year time. However, Vega GPU is expected to handle it. To support the claim, Dell has previously confirmed that the 8K resolution is already working on their monitor powered by Polaris-based Radeon WX 7100 GPUs.

This new achievement held by AMD Radeon RX deepens the threat it placed in NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti's neck. In the past months, the tension between the two powerful GPUs gets even tighter with the former venturing into different heights each week, Fudzilla added.

Moreover, AMD Radeon RX graphic card surprisingly holds much cheaper price tag while topping each benchmark tests in performance and speed. However, AMD RX 500 series is being threatened by NVIDIA by equipping its Geforce GTX 1080 Ti and GTX 1060 graphics card with faster GDDR5 memory.

Thus, AMD Radeon RX graphic card should be released this quarter to counter pressure.
