Apple and Intel's collaboration in MacBook Pro and other Mac products is proven to be excellent in many other ways. For this reason, rumors suggest that the super duo will take on their partnership inside the heart of iPad Pro 2 through Kaby Lake (Core i7) and A10X chipsets to achieve the performance of a super computer.

Rumored iPad Pro 2 with Intel Core i7 Inside

If an Intel chipset has made it to Samsung Galaxy Book and Microsoft Surface Pro, how much more to Apple iPad Pro 2? To address the question, a wild speculation suggests that iPad Pro 2 could feature both A10X and Core i7 chipsets inside to achieve faster performance akin to PCs.

However, this claim is not supported by Apple and iPad Pro 2 is reportedly sticking with Apple's proprietary chipset the A10X which targets an over-all performance improvement. With this regard, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is presumed to outperform iPad Pro 2 because of the former's specs that comprised of Intel Kaby Lake (Core i7) chipsets, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage and the powerful Windows 10 operating system, according to Market Exclusive.

iPad Pro 2 is Reportedly Facing Issues on Supply

iPad Pro 2 shipments are presumed to be delayed due to lack of supply. Since the new tablet will use a 10nm processor chipsets for faster performance, poor yields of the said chip will not suffice to the vast quantities of new iPads that Apple need to manufacture and release on May 2017, PC Advisor reported.

However, the delay is also viewed as beneficial to Apple because in the event the 10nm processor chipset cannot make in on time for iPad Pro 2, the device will be launched alongside the new iPhone 8 (which uses the same chipset) in September. On the other hand, others speculations suggest that Apple will hold a launching event in April at the Steve Jobs Theater.
