iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Tool Fails But Pangu Could Be Quietly Working on Another Tool Compatible with iPhone 7

By

Luca Todesco's Yalu app is reportedly unstable and most especially not compatible with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The jailbreaking community is disappointed but speculations suggest that Pangu's silence could mean that the Chinese group of hackers is quietly working on iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool that is highly functional.

Luca Todesco Raises the White Flag on iOS Security Features

The Italian notorious hacker Luca Todesco is reportedly surrendering to the muscled-up security features of Apple iOS by saying that it can't be jailbroken. According to MobiPicker, members of the jailbreaking community seems to be also giving up on their hopes of finding a stable iOS 10 jailbreak tool now that Apple has set new security features to its mobile operating system.

Apple's migration to the new File System APFS imposes difficulties and challenges for the hackers to get through the files from IPA or iOS Application Archive. Aside from that, downgrading the iOS devices to previous version could be downright impossible as well.

Although Todesco said that he will try to do some polishing on the Yalu app to eliminate the issues brought by the tool that will also become useless because Apple is now preparing for the rolling out of iOS 10.3 to registered developers soon, Mac Rumors reported. This action from the Cupertino-based giant could spell the end of jailbreaking era.

Netizens Interpret Pangu's Silence as a Positive Response

Amidst the brink of losing hope, other members of the jailbreaking community continue to wait for Pangu's iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool that will not only come as stable but also compatible with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. According to reports, the only thing that jailbreakers must do now is to hope that an established tool is on its way.

While Luca Todesco cannot go beyond iOS 10.2 with its Yalu app, the notorious hacker is reportedly working on expanding the list of iOS devices compatible on its jailbreak tool. Whatever the result of Apple's war against jailbreaking, one thing's for sure, hackers only want to open doors to another garden where users can explore more.
