Google Excluded Nexus 9 from the Latest Android Updates

The exclusion of Nexus 9 from the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update appears to be an extremely sad news for the users and loyal fans of the well-loved device. For this reason, speculations suggest that the delisting is likely to be an end of Nexus era and the start of Pixel reign with the upcoming Google Pixel 7 tablet.

However, Google has this two-year update guarantee for its released devices and since Nexus 9 has been in the market for more than two years now, it has been thrown out of the grid but still continue to receive security patched, according to CNET. Aside from Nexus 9, Nexus 6 is also reportedly excluded from the list of selected devices to receive the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update.

Google Pixel 7 is Likely to be on its Way

Pixel C is the most recent tablet released by Google last December 2015. For this reason, netizens are anticipating a new one this 2017 most specifically the most talked about Nexus 7 in which rumored as the new Google Pixel 7 tablet.
