Actor Matthew McConaughey says that if he is not an actor today, he would be a teacher or an astronaut by now. The veteran actor is known for his roles in "The Wolf of Wall Street" and "Dallas Buyers Club." His most memorable movie moment is from "Dazed and Confused," where he says "Alright, alright, alright." But not a lot of people know that he is currently working as a professor at the University of Texas at Austin.

As a young man, Matthew McConaughey attended the University of Texas at Austin and joined the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He graduated in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Radio, Television and Film. He originally wanted to attend Southern Methodist University but his family's finances could not afford it. Eventually it worked out because he returns to his alma mater every year to teach his craft and share his knowledge from the film and entertainment industry.

Currently, Matthew McConaughey is teaching students about the science behind the magic of film making in this year's semester, as reported by Journal Star. Being a teacher is his other dream career. Although he once envisioned himself as a lawyer but later on lost interest.

Aside from sharing his expertise on his career and field, he is eager to pass the values he learned to his kids, too. He wants to teach his kids, Levi (8), Vida (7) and Livingston (4) about strong work ethics and no false drama, as reported by US Magazine.

Clearly, Matthew McConaughey hustles on the side, living and working on both acting and teaching careers. During an interview with Vanity Fair, the actor was asked to impart some advice. He says to everyone out their that are pursing their dreams to always be true to yourself. And he ends his interview saying "Alright, alright, alright."
