Along with that, fans can also expect a collector's edition of the game to be released by Square Enix, as well. Moreover, the developers have discussed with fans about potentially including a new Jump and Boost feature to the game, according to sources.

It was stated that the upcoming second expansion will be released in June 20, 2017. Furthermore, "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" will be available to all North America, Europe, and Japan through a simultaneous launch.

It was mentioned further that the news of "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" and its slated release date were unveiled during the "Final Fantasy XIV" Fan Festival in Tokyo. During the event, there were some details that were also released to fans regarding the game's collector's edition.

It was stated therein that, aside from the upcoming "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood," fans can expect the following features to be included in the game's collector's edition: a special package that features the original art by Yoshitaka Amano, an exclusive high-quality Zenos figure, a Stormblood art book, cloth map of Eorzea, original decal, a Syldra Mount, a wind-up Bartz Minion, and a Red Mage Main Arm: Chicken Knife among others.

In other news, it was also reported that in the wake of the upcoming expansion, "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood," the game's director Naoki Yoshida has recently posted on the forums about the idea of a Jump and Boost Potions feature that would allow players to pay real money in order to level up and catch up with the story.

It was said that players who opt to buy the potions, which would amount to roughly around 43 US dollars, would be able to take a job to level 50 and be brought up to speed with the current story through cut-scenes in the inn. Moreover, if players purchase both options, it would eliminate the need to grind numerous hours just to be able to catch-up with the story once "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" comes out.

It was noted that the system is already out in the Chinese and Korean versions of the game and Suqre Enix is currently looking into ways to introduce the feature to Japan, Europe, and North America.
