Fans will remember that Bethesda Softworks has recently launched a remastered version of "Skyrim" available to the latest consoles in the current market. With the added support for modding in the PS4 for games like "Skyrim Special Edition," fans of the franchise have been working heavily in creating a mod to remaster an older (but still widely popular) "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion." Moreover, reports have shown that Bethesda intends to support the upcoming Nintendo Switch.

It was previously reported that the "Skyrim Special Edition" was launched by Bethesda Softworks back in October to all three Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4, which included all of the downloadable contents (DLC) of the game and a support for modding, as well, University Herald noted.

That being said, it seems that fans are hard at work with coming up with a mod for "Skrim: Special Edition," which would eventually remaster a fan-favorite installment to the franchise called "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion," WCCFTech reported.

It was stated therein that a fair amount of dedicated Skyrim modders are planning to recreate "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" via a mod for "Skrim: Special Edition."The project will also include all of the DLCs that were made available to the former.

Moreover, it seems that they have also updated their fans by releasing a trailer called "Skyblivion" that brings the fans up to speed as to where they are already in the development cycle.

In other news, Bethesda's Todd Howard, known for the highly-acclaimed games "Fallout 4" and "Skyrim: Special Edition," have stated in an interview that they will be definitely supporting the upcoming Nintendo Switch, Polygon reported.

Without divulging much information on which projects or game titles they intend to release to Nintendo Switch (like a possible "Skyrim: Special Edition" release), Howard went on to praise the console by saying Nintendo came in with a smart approach with its next-gen platform.

As such, it seems that fans can expect a lot more content for the widely popular "Skyrim: Special Edition" as new mods are being pumped into the game, and Bethesda eyeing on supporting the Nintendo Switch.
