Samsung has good news to all Android users this holiday season. The South Korean wearable Gear S3 is now reportedly working on non-Samsung Galaxy smartphones except with Google Pixel Phone. What could be wrong? Find out here!

Samsung Gear S3 Compatible on Non-Samsung Galaxy Handsets but not with Pixel Phones

The South Korean tech firm manufactured wearable product Samsung Gear S3 has the big chance of pulling out greater revenues from the holiday season sale, as Samsung has reportedly make the watch compatible to non-Samsung Galaxy handsets that run Android 4.4 KitKat and beyond. Aside from that, Samsung has also made Samsung Pay compatible to other Android devices, according to Slash Gear,

However, amidst the joyous news, Google Pixel phones users are likely not be pleased as Samsung Gear S3 and Samsung Pay are not compatible with Pixel and Pixel XL. On the other hand, LG V20 known for Samsung greatest rival is included with the new update; thus, netizens asked what could be wrong?

A certain Pixel XL owner has took to Twitter to personally asked Samsung why the installation of Samsung Pay on the Pixel handset has failed and Samsung has immediately posted a reply by saying that the said service is not available on Pixel phones, Android Guys reported. Although this is the case that will be faced by millions of Pixel phones users, the reason behind it remains unknown to everyone; however, some speculations say that it has something to do on the phone's operating system which is the Android 7.1 Nougat.

On the other hand, aside from the mentioned LG V20, Samsung Gear S3 and Samsung Pay services will also be available to HTC 10. Users just need to see if the Samsung Pay option appears on their phone so that they can automatically download the updates.

Samsung Gear S3 Classic and Frontier models can be purchased from T-Mobile, AT&T and Samsung stores worldwide. The wearable was available for a discounted price of $299 during the Black Friday holiday.
