British actor Arnold Oceng is currently promoting his two new films, "Brotherhood" and "A United Kingdom." In "A United Kingdom," he takes on the role of Charles.

But he has had several movies under his belt too. And he has high praises for his co-stars. He had Arnold Oceng has the chance to work with actors Idris Elba, John Boyega and Chiewtel Ejiofor. And even though the Hollywood Industry had the "Oscars So White" controversy, Oceng believes that a change is coming.

He explains the difference between America and the United Kingdom. When he sat down with HeyUGuys, he said that actors can play several roles in the United States. In the UK, however, he says there is a glass ceiling. He looks at his own portfolio as a reference. Most of the roles he has done were stereotypical bad boys but he also has hopes of doing other roles.

In "A United Kingdom," he plays a graduate of Oxford University. In the movie, he is an educated man from Kenya who went to Oxford for his higher education. His character wanted to become the next Kenyan Attorney General.

He refers to the film as a current movie and its relevance to racial discrimination, racial politics and diversity is still present today. Oceng remembers his own experiences growing up. He did have his share of racial abuse and says that it is because of the lack of education that people are like that.

But regardless of that, it has still been an uphill and successful climb for Oceng. His agent even refers to it as "The Year of the Oceng." And it seems like he has a lot more projects coming his way. For now, he feels like he was always the underdog. The one where nobody expects him to become successful in movies with high profiles.

Watch "A United Kingdom" on November 25, 2016, as it premieres in theaters.
