The reputable leaker named LlabTooFer revealed to his Twitter account that Android 7.0 Nougat is coming very soon to HTC devices. Aside from HTC 10, see the list of eligible devices that are selected for the major rollout.

 Android 7.0 Nougat for HTC Handsets

HTC is known for being the first one to rollout latest android versions to its current flagship. For this reason, the Chinese manufacturing firm is expected to release the Android 7.0 Nougat update to its 2016 flagship smartphone HTC 10; however, the question that lingers is how soon is soon?

This question might get an answer anytime sooner as the popular leaker named LlabTooFer revealed in his Twitter account the recent development of Android 7.0 Nougat rollout to HTC handsets. According to MobiPicker, the reputable leaker posted few screenshots of HTC 10 that stably running Android 7.0 Nougat.

The said couple of screenshots were immediately followed by rumors that Android 7.0 Nougat rollout to HTC 10 will happen before the year ends. In addition, users from Europe are said to be the first ones to receive the update followed by other regions.

On the other hand, HTC One A9 and One M9 are also likely to get the update some time in 2017 following the rollout to HTC 10. Furthermore, chances are also big for the following HTC handsets: Butterfly 3, One E9, One ME, Desire 826 and Desire 820; however, there is no confirmation from HTC yet aside from the first three mentioned devices.

HTC has already made an announcement that the handset One M8 won't get the Android 7.0 Nougat update and the only way of getting the android latest beta program for the said handset is through XDA Developers unofficial Nougat ROM.

What to Expect from Android 7.0 Nougat?

It is already known to many that Android 7.0 Nougat will bring two most notable features: multi-tasking window app and split screen. However, Google has made it clear to the public that Pixel-exclusive features such as Pixel Launcher and Google Assistant will not be available.

Daydream mode will be available for selected non-Pixel devices such as ZTE Axon, Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Droid Force according to Android Police.
