PS4 Pro vs Xbox One S: Performance

PS4 Pro is said to be the winner when it comes to the overall performance of the two gaming consoles and twice as powerful as the standard PS4. According to Trusted Reviews, this boosts in performance is accountable to the used of the newest AMD graphic chipset Radeon RX 480 graphics card patterned after Polaris architecture.

PS4 Pro vs Xbox One S: HDR Gaming and Resolution

Furthermore, PS4 Pro remains the winner when it comes to HDR gaming and resolution mainly because of the console's ability to deliver a game at a higher resolution. Sony said that PS4 Pro has resolution close to 4K thus, having a smoother division between objects from the screen, whereas, Xbox One S has no improvements on visual fidelity.

On the other hand, when it comes to added feature, Xbox One S has an advantage over PS4 Pro. According to Digital Spy, Xbox One Scorpio is more desirable because of the added feature that lacks the PS4 Pro, the Ultra HD Blu-ray player.

PS4 Pro vs Xbox One S: Games and Dimensions

PS4 Pro and Xbox One S support the games designed for both of them including those cannot be streamed in a 4k resolution. The only difference is PS4 Pro will run the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" out of the box.

When it comes physical dimension, PS4 Pro is quite wider than Xbox One S with measurement of 295 x 327 x 55m, whereas, Scorpio measures 229 x 292 x 63.5mm. PS4 Pro is also quite longer but thinner.
