Is "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." newcomer Ghost Rider getting his own spinoff series or movie? Gabriel Luna, who plays Ghost Rider in the ABC series, teased that his character might get his own spinoff.

Luna is doing a great job appearing as Robbie Reyes, a.k.a. Ghost Rider, in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." His performance has been getting a lot of praises from viewers so much that fans have been asking Marvel to see Ghost Rider go further in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A common suggestion so far is to have the character to star in his own show on Netflix, where many Marvel characters have been thriving with their standalone shows.

"I don't have a preference. People talk about 'Ah man he'd be great as a feature,' which is [an] idea too... It could be in the cinema, it could live on Netflix, whatever it is," Luna told comicbook.com about Ghost Rider's rumored transition from "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." to his own show.

"It's been talked about, there's definitely deals in place for that potential. But I just take it one day at a time. I have so much fun now I just want to make sure I get these episodes right. If they throw more episodes on my plate, I will do my best to do well with those stories as well," he added.

One thing's for sure: Marvel is already discussing a bigger future for the character. This all coincides with past rumors relating to the character. According to Screen Rant, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." previously teased that Johnny Blaze was the one who gave Robbie Reyes his supernatural powers. Reference to another Ghost Rider character puts up the possibility of having a series about the duo. In recall, Johnny Blaze was the character played by Nicolas Cage in the 2007 "Ghost Rider" movie.

A "Ghost Rider" series on Netflix was also widely rumored even before Luna was confirmed to appear on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 as the character.

In the meantime, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is still going through its fourth season and the show's future remains uncertain for the most part. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 airs every Tuesdays on ABC.
