A Korean video game site reported that the popular 2010 classic "Red Dead Redemption" Remastered might be in development and might be launched next year. Take-Two is still interested in releasing additional remasters.

Rumored "Red Dead Redemption" remastered version

There was rumor passed around recently involving one of the best games of the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, which was the "Red Dead Redemption." According to the official Korean video game site of Gamefocus, there will be a remastered version of the popular 2010 video game, which is rumored to be launched on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and finally the PC by 2017.

PS4, PC gamers only chance to play "Red Dead Redemption"

With a remastered version of "Red Dead Redemption," this will be the only chance for PS4 console system owners to play the video game since the PS4 system does not have any backwards compatibility feature with PlayStation 3 games. This will also be the first time for PC owners to play the game since it was launched for the previous console generation.

"Red Dead Redemption" playable on Xbox One but remastered version welcome

Luckily for the Xbox One owners, they can play "Red Dead Redemption" without any problems. If they own the video game on Xbox 360, they can just play it through the backwards compatibility feature. If a remaster of the video game is coming, they will not say no to that either because it might have upgraded graphics this time around.

"Red Dead Redemption" remastered possible due to recent statement

While Rockstar has already announced the sequel of the game, "Red Dead Redemption 2," the game company has given a hint of a possible "Red Dead Redemption" Remaster. CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed that they may potentially release additional remasters after the launch of "Bioshock: The Collection," Gamespot quoted him as saying during an earnings call recently.

Zelnick said that any time they have something that will go well or the other way around, it gives the idea of what they will decide in the future. They have a lot of intellectual properties stashed in their game company, and there might be a chance of bringing back one of those games to the market again in the future, he said.
