"Red Dead Redemption 2" has been announced to come out in the last months of 2017. This has also sparked rumors that Rockstar Games is dropping hints about a possible "GTA VI" reveal in the coming days.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" The Cowboy Version of "GTA"?

Rockstar Games has shown very little information about the upcoming cowboy game. The only details known so far is that the game will have seven cowboy characters presumably each will be playable, according to Trusted Review. RDR 2 is also known to feature a single story mode as well as a multiplayer mode. The demo showed an open world where players can learn to ride a horse, shoot on horseback and riding in the open desert. Still, it's still not enough to much about the game. "Red Dead Redemption 2" is expected to be played on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but the former will have first dibs on it.

"GTA 6" Rumored Release Date

A lot of "GTA" fans are hoping that Rockstar Games will reveal or announce a release date for the "GTA 6". Speculators observed that the developer has a new "GTA" installment every five years and if this pattern stays true, "GTA 6" maybe release date on 2018. But there are rumors that upcoming "GTA" installment may have a possible release date on 2020 or even later than that.

There are several theories spreading around to explain why "GTA 6" will take some time to be release. One of them is the reportedly huge development costs for the upcoming installment. It is said that Rockstar will reportedly spend around $1 billion to develop it. One possible reason why Rockstar is reluctant to develop a "GTA 6" is due to "GTA V Online." It's a huge cash machine that the developer is still adding features and contents to it. Industry observers believed that as long as "GTA V" is making tons of money, fans will have to wait for quite a while for "GTA 6."
