It has not been too long yet since the release date of the MacBook Pro notebooks, at the same time it is not yet the expected time for Apple to release new upgrades for the units. However, King-Chi Kuo, an analyst from KGI Securities, has already made his predictions as to what Apple might be possibly planning for the models, which are bound to be released next year. Kuo said that Apple might be upgrading its hardware for its next version and might even lower down their prices.

According to Kuo, Apple has the pattern of charging higher prices for its MacBooks especially during a new generation launching, then a price cut will however follow the year after. It is expected that this price drop will happen during the second half of next year. People tend to upgrade their devices, since the USB-C market and Touch Bar is moving slowly into the limelight , Slash Gear reported.

It is also expected that hardware upgrades will be coming still during the second half of the year. The upgrade will include 32GB of RAM, while the launching of Intel's Canonlake CPU might also be affecting the launch of this part of Apple's hardware upgrade.The Canonlake CPU with LPDDR4 RAM, according to Kuo, can consume around 15-25% less power as compared to the current CPUs that are being used by Apple.

If Intel will have a delayed launching for their processors, Kuo emphasized that Apple is expected to adopt the Coffee Lake processors instead. This can be done through the utilization of the LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of RAM, since it may met problems with power consumption.
