The video game title of the "Tomb Raider" game franchise might have been leaked due to an open laptop on the subway. Eidos Montreal might be involved in the next adventure of Lara Croft.

According to the official website of Reddit, a member revealed that he was riding a Montreal subway train recently and saw an open laptop used by a guy. He said that the person was working on a PowerPoint presentation, and it had a familiar looking title with a logo attached. He saw the logo for "Shadow of the Tomb Raider," which he suspected was a working title for the next sequel of the video game franchise.

According to Kotaku, the title that the Reddit member saw was a name they have heard rumored to be the next game in the popular video game franchise. A source confirmed to the publication that the title revealed recently is indeed the name. They warn everyone that this will change when it is officially announced by Square Enix, but as far as they can tell, the document looked legit.

The Reddit member told writer Jason Schreier in an interview that the PowerPoint page the person was working on was about the visuals of the game. He also said that he wanted to reveal more details, but it looked blurry from where he was sitting in the train. He could only see clearly the title and the logo of the presentation.

Schreier revealed that Eidos Montreal might be involved in the next video game title of the franchise soon. The game studio is the largest one under Square Enix, and they were behind several popular game titles like "Thief" and recently "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided."

This type of incident happened in a similar manner with a person working for Ubisoft. He was careless in opening his laptop on an airplane, which revealed the title of "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag." It was also displayed in a PowerPoint presentation.
