Level-5 is a game developer that had several of its products in Nintendo gaming platforms. However, it seems that the developer will not have any games for the Nintendo Switch once it's been release on March 2017.

Spanish Interview With Level-5 CEO

Level-5 chief Akihiro Hino was in Barcelona, Spain when he was asked what games will they include with the Nintendo Switch launch. He said there will be none, according to Vandal. This reply came as a surprise since the developer has been releasing its game titles to other Nintendo hardware.

Hino did say that they intend to develop Nintendo Switch games but they are simply not working on one right now. The Level-5 CEO also said that they are still studying the new gaming system and how they can maximize its potential for their games. The statement seems to indicate that the developer may need more time familiarizing itself with the Nintendo Switch since it's a hybrid system that combines console and handheld mobile gaming.

When Will Level-5 Releases Nintendo Switch Games

Level-5 has been releasing games to Nintendo and some have been bestsellers. It's most notable games for the DS and 3DS includes the "Professor Layton" game series, "Inazuma Eleven" and "Yo-Kai Watch". It should be noted that Level-5 is not exclusive Nintendo game developer, according to Nintendo Life.

Level-5 Game Developer For Various Platforms

Level-5 has developed several games to other platforms including the Sony PlayStations and mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. In the same interview, Hino said that his company is currently working on the migration of "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" from the PS3 to the PS4 platform. There will also be new features included in the game once its release to the current gen. Hino said that the updated RPG game will have a new system for creating Kingdoms and other options.
