There's only few days left before the presumed Oct. 27 MacBook Pro 2016 launching, but there are no reported preparations done by Apple for the said event yet. Could it be possible that the launching of the new Mac and other products will be moved to another month or even another year? Check what credible sources have to say.

Is October Event Happening?

Netizens have already started asking about the truth behind the presumed October Apple event because until now, there are still no signs showing that the said event is likely to transpire. For this matter, Mashable assumed that MacBook Pro 2016 release date will not be happening in October, rather for the next month or worst the next 12 months.

However, the statement has been contradicted by some claims, saying that the production of MacBook Pro 2016 has already started on the second quarter of 2016 and is likely to hit the store shelves in October after its launching. Nevertheless, netizens are still waiting for the official announcement from Apple.

How Important is the Event?

In March 2015, the 13-inch and 15-inch retina MacBook Pro were released and considered only as a major upgrade. But for some people, the last major overhaul received by the portable machine was four years ago.

Besides, the older models of Mac are considered by some as a bad investment and its price will not be worth it today. According to Forbes, Apple needs to upgrade their MacBooks, or else, they will lose most of their consumers along the way, not to mention the newly launched laptops of 2016.

Products to be Launched in October 2016

Aside from the most anticipated MacBook Pro 2016, iMac and MacBook Air product upgrades are also perceived to make a debut in the presumed Apple event. However, the 11-inch MacBook did not make it this year as the technology titan was reportedly killed off the said MacBook Air model.
